Arnold M. Karp

Arnold Karp is the founder Karp Associates, a Connecticut-based multifaceted building firm specializing in distinguished custom homes, diverse renovations, professional construction management as well as real estate consulting and development.
For more than two decades, Karp has been prominently involved in the Fairfield County community. Prior to starting his own firm, he was the CFO of a privately held company in Connecticut with holdings in insurance, communications (radio stations), and real estate. Previous to that he was with Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company in New York City. Karp is also co-founder of Insight Laboratories, a consumer product testing business with offices in New York and Singapore.
Arnold graduated magna cum laude from Boston University School of Management in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He also received a Boston University Teaching Fellow Award.
Karp’s professional affiliations include: the New York Landmarks Conservancy Professional Circle, the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) of Fairfield County, and the National Association of Remodelers. Arnold has been a board member of a number of charitable and philanthropic endeavors from the Stamford Museum and Nature Center to the New Canaan YMCA and the Jewish Community Center, Stamford, CT. He has also been an active committee member of The King School, Mill River Collaborative, New Canaan Chamber of Commerce, and New Canaan High School Building Committee ($70 million project.).
Karp resides in New Canaan, CT with his wife, Lisa, and his three children, Samantha, Danielle, and Alexa.
