		Country Farm House This country farm house was a major renovation of a single-story, 1948 ranch house situated on a hilltop overlooking a large pond. The resulting old style home has nearly three times the finished floor space of the original with every modern amenity. A copper-roofed porch graces across the front of the house. The fieldstone finish on the foundation and retaining walls continues the antique feeling. Inside one is greeted by large, freely flowing spaces which are finished with rich period wallpapers, antique hardwood flooring, generous bead-board wainscoting and imaginative trim and molding details. Unlike its ranch predecessor, the ceiling heights average nine feet and comfort is maintained with updated heating and air conditioning systems. The kitchen features state-of-the-art appliances with a combination of custom cabinetry and antique furnishings converted to use as cabinets and storage pantries. A generous separate guest suite is provided at the walk-out basement level. Four large bedrooms are situated on the second floor, which includes a gracious master suite.
